Arabs armed with swords and stones attacked District officer I.eslio and Chief Inspector Nelson. Both escaped. Mr Leslie was saved by an African Ascarl from death by a sword thrust. The trouble was the outcome of a •' affrays between Arabs and natives In the. native quarter, with shop-breaking and looting. To-day the natives charged the Arabs. More trouble j s feared.
