CHURCH FUNCTION.

EVENING AT HOROTIU A most enjoyable evening was spent at the residence of Mrs Toulson. at Horotiu, on Monday. Games and competitions were much enjoyed, the winners of competitions being Mrs Holmes, Miss Sullivan and Mr Murray Jacobs. Elocution by Miss E. Smallfleld was much appreciated. The rooms had been most attractively arranged with anemones and spring flowers. Among those present were:—Mesdames A. Washer, E. A. Hall, Conboy, E. Jacobs, R. Holmes, Hutcheson, Bunyan. Misses E. Smallfleld. P. Bunyan. V. Hall, N. Barry. M. Couch, M. Wyllie.
