BRIDGE AFTERNOON I Three hostesses, Mrs J. Goodall, Mrs A. Kay and Mrs D. Storey, arranged a very pleasant afternoon in the Parish Hall, Te Awamutu, on Tuesday to raise funds for the St. John Auxiliary. The hall had been beautifully decorated by Mrs R. Dawson with camellias and flowering peach blossom. The guests played mah Jongg, bridge and five-hundred during the afternoon, the winners being Mrs Marsh and Mrs Mensforth for the five-hundred, and Mrs Naylor for the bridge. Among those present were:—Mesdames J. Goodall, A. Kay, D. Storey, M. Friedlander, J. Muir, J. McGovern, L. Chamberlain, J. Mensforth, Zohrab, W. McKenzie, R. Dawson, Houston, Irwin, Stewart, S. Bmpson, L. Teasel ale, W. Jeffery, L. IKay, A. J. Storey, A. Jourdain, Davis, A. Cruickshank. Monteflore, Cole, Naylor, P. Blackburn. Marsh, A. Swarbrick. M. Sullivan. Misses Head, S. Empson, Graham.
