LONDON PREBB OPINION United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, August 24. ThS Times, which regards the report of the Mandates Commission as another step towards cutting Palestine, now says: “Broadly speaking, the League of Nations Council advisers have admitted, somewhat grudgingly perhaps, that partition is possible of trie Palestine problem, but. they have admitted only the principle, and It is only on the question of principle that the British Government Is committed. It now rests with the League Council to consider the question with the observations of the Mandates Commission before it.
