August 2* Seventeen officers and crew of the Greek steamer Kagos, on arrival from Ceuta, state that Insurgent warships eight weeks ago captured the ship in the Mediterranean, imprisoned th* crew in Gcuta. unloaded the cargo elsewhere, and kept the ship. The captain, who was taken to San Fernando, is still detained.
The crew during their imprisonment had only a loaf of bread and a quart of water each daily
