The seaplane in wh'«h Messrs Yde and Houston lost their lives on July 28 was discovered lying in 30ft. of water two miles from Point Cook. When raised there was no trace of the bodv of Mr Yde. The wreckage, showed that the plane nose-dived with terriffle force, the engine being driven into the front cockpit, where Mr Yde was sitting.
