NINE CHILDREN KILLED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright MOSCOW, Aug. 23. A message from Novo Sibirsk says ihe manager of a garage, named Scheltz, lias been sentenced to death for encouraging the reckless and dangerous driving of a motor-lorry at a children’s picnic. Nine children fell out of the lorry and were killed, and 17 were Injured. The driver was sentenced to 10 years’ Imprisonment. Scheltz was also accused of drunkenness and of being a member of a Fascist band.
