MASKED AND ARMED INTRUDERB. BAKERY MANAGER FELLED. THREE YOUNG MEN ARRESTED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, August 22. Three masked and armed young men entered a bakery at Balmain last night and felled the manager, Mr Eric Morgan. They obtained the keys to the safe and were proceeding to obtain the money when Mr Morgan, who had feigned unconsciousness, hurried unnoticed to the police station. Four policemen rushed back to the bakery Just in time to sec the robbers compelling another employee to drive them away in a motor-lorry. The police called on the men to surrender and remove their masks and all were arrested. A sum of £2OO la notes was recovered.
