ALLEGED HOLD-UP.
CHARGE AGAINST GOLFER. WILL RETURN VOLUNTARILY. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21. The golfer John Montague has announced that he is waiving his opposition to the extradition proceedings against him and is voluntarily returning to Essex County, where the proceedings originated. Montague's attorney explained that the Court knew that his client originally was eager to go to New York to seek vindication from the Court, but his friends dissuaded him and urged him to oppose extradition. It is alleged by the police that Montague is identical with Laverne' Moore, who Is wanted for a roadhouse holdup in New York State seven years ago.
