The Ulster Graud Prix, 500 c. 0., resulted In a win for West, who, riding a B.M.W , achieved an average speed of 91.64 miles an hour. Moore (Norton) 84.54 miles an hour, was second, and Taggart (A.J.S.), 74.29 miles an hour, third. The 350 c.c. resulted:—Mellors (Velocette), 85.58 miles, 1; Foster (A.J.S.), 84.99 miles, 2; Rowley (A.J.S.), 54.C4 miles. 3. The 250 c.c. resulted:—Thomas (D.K.W.), 81.83 files, 1; Woood (Excelsior), 80.63 miles, 2; Archer (New Imperial), 76.8 miles, 3. CANBERRA TO SYDNEY. PROFESSIONAL RECORD LOWERED. A leading road-racing cyclist, Charles Winterbottom, rode from Canberra to Sydney, a distance of more than 200 miles, In 8h 3tm 11s, lowering the professional record by lh 85m and the amateur record by 2h 23m. The feat was performed In spite of heavy rain and roads in a shocking state.
