The fortnightly 500 tournament and dance in aid of school funds Avas held at Ruapuke when there was a good attendance, visitors being present from Raglan and Te Mata. Three ladie* tied for the prize in 500, Mrs W. Thomson eventually being declared tho winner. Two players tied for the men’s prize, Mr M. Swann finally being the winner.
