DRAMA FESTIVALS.

Winners of Drama Festivals. “All In the Day’s Work,” presented by the Wanganui Repertory Society, j won the fifth annual Wanganui area j festival of the British Drama League. The festival was concluded in one night, three senio rand two junior Plays being* presented. The Napier Repertory Players In "The Three Hundredth Performance,” took the honours in A grade in the seventh annual festival of the Hawke’s Bay Drama League. The adjudicator was Miss Helen Gard'ner, of Wellington. women’s institute Drama Festival. A Drama Festival organised by the Northern Hawke’s Bay Federation of Women’s Institutes, was held at Taradale last week. The plays presented were:—“The Green Monkey,” Greenmeadows; “The Bride,” Pakowhai; “ Ali the Cobbler,” Havelock North; “Little Glass Houses,” Eskdale; “Cupid in a Hat Shop,” Taradale; and “The Incorruptible,” Haumoana. “ Wald of Domremy ” at Stratford. “ of Domremy,” with which the Hamilton Play x>x won the recent drama festival Li Hamilton, was also successful in the Central Taranaki festival at Stratford last week, being placed equal with “ Blenheim ” in the junior section. The senior section of the festival was won by a scene from " Othello ” (Stratford), with “Saturday Night” (Rahotu) second and “Five at the George” (Te Ope) third.
