“BRING AND BUY.”
LYCEUM CLUB FUNCTION. FOR BENEVOLENT CIRCLE. A most successful “Bring: and Buy** afternoon was held at the Waikato Lyceum Club yesterday for funds to assist the Benevolent Circle in their work. Vivid anemones and spring flowers lent a note of colour to the rooms and there’ was a large number of members present. The table looked most attractive and excellent business was done by those in charge, Mesdames T. Parker (convener), H. J. Greenslade, W. P. Aldridge and John Thompson.
