WEDDINGS.

OHRISTIE —MOLLIBON. The marriage was solemnised at St. Aldan’s Church, Claudelands, on the evening of August 14, between Doreen Winifred, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs A. F. Molllson, of Hamilton, and William George Anderson, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Con Christie, of Hamilton. The oeremony was performed by the Rev. G. A. Crossman, and Miss N. Crossman presided at the organ. Teh church had been very beautifully arranged by friends of the bride with camellias. Iceland popples and greenery. The bride, who entered the church with her father, looked very oharming. She wore a beautiful gown of satin de solr made on slightly tailored lines, the skirt falling to a slight train. The bodice was fashioned with high neckline and finished with buttons down the front, and -she wore a lovely veil of embroidered tulle falling frcrtn a coronet of ivory velvet flowers in halo effect. She carried a shower bouquet of jonquils, white roses and maidenhair fern. Mrs C. N. de Lautour (-sister of the bride) was the matron-of-honour, and wore a frock of apricot taffeta relieved with apple green, made with a full flared skirt and high neckline. The sleeves were full and puffed, and a half Peter Pan collar was at the back, which was finished with buttons. She carried a bouquet of daffodils, loeland poppies and maidenhair fern. Mr Con Christie was the best man, and Messrs C. Molllson and C. Bowling were the ushers. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Centrew&y Rooms, which looked most attractive with bowls of narcissi and Iceland popples. The bride’s mother was wearing a frock of nigger brown orepe ravenna, and hat to tone, and carried a posy of daffodils and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom’s mother was wearing a frock of violet jaquard crepe with coatee of violet velvet, and hat to tone. She carried a posy of daphne and maidenhair fern. When Mr and Mrs W. Q. A. Christie left by car for the honeymoon in the South Island the bride travelled wearing a Jumper suit of Coronation gold, with nigger brown hat and accessories, and fur coat. They will make their home In Hamilton. After the reception the guests were entertained very happily at the home of Mr and Mrs Con Christie, sen., In Grey Street.
