SALE AT MORRINSVILLE. BELOW FRANKTON LEVELS. (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE. Friday. Prices for fat cattle and sheep rose at the Morrinsville stock sale to-day although the rise was not as spectacular as that recorded at Frankton last Tuesday. All classes of beef were in animated request but with limited numbers of choice sorts on offer values generally did not compare with the recent high central yard figures. Best cows and heifers were traded at from flo to £l3 2s 6d but the majority of fat pens changed hands from £0 lo £9 10s. Dairy cattle were again in good request and late rates were' generally maintained. Bidding was brisk for fat sheep, the entry consisting mainly of hoggets, which were auctioned at higher rales, ow# hoggets making from 35s lo 38s 6d. A small entry of we I hers also mnda advanced rates. However, they were not mii a par with recent central vird rates. There was not ftie same* brisk competition for f;«t pics and rates were hardly on a par with those of last 1 riday. Medium steers made £l2 17s fid; choice cows and heifers. £lO to £l3 2s f*i|; f.d.
