An account of the manner in which the first £IOO,OOO of the funds available to the King George V. Jubilee Trust has been expended is set out in tlie second annual report of the trust, whoso receipts totalled £1,031,022 leaving available after tlie payment of the administrative expenses and grants the sum of £9 , 59,662. The council of the trust set aside £25,000 towards the purchase and equipment of King George’s House, a hostel for boys coming to London in search of work. Of the balance the council allotted £40,500 for distribution among the chief national Juvenile organisations and £34,500 for distribution among other selected juvenile organisations. The trust’s main objective is the welfare of the yungor -em-ration.
