WEDDINGS.
JENKINS —ZIEGLER. The marriage was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Te Aroha, recently between Dorothy Elizabeth, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Ziegler, of Te Aroha, and Reginald, third son of Mr A. E, Jenkins, of Te Aroha , West, and the late Mrs Jenkins, of Eltham. The Rev. C- R. Taylor offlciated, and the wedding music was played by Mr L. C. Ziegler (brother • of the bride). The bride, who entered the church with her fathejr, wore a slim fitting frock of crepe nevelle with satin coin spots, her train falling from the shoulders. Her tulle veil was held in place by a headdress of pleated tulle and orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of winter roses and snowdrops. Miss Gwen Ziegler was the bridesI maid, and little Marjorie Ziegler (niece of the bride) was train-bearer. They were frocked alike in sunglow taffeta, fashioned on old world lines and trimmed with primrose petals. Their hats were of primrose taffeta and tulle, and they carried bouquets ot spring flowers. Mr Keith Hurliman was the best man. The reception was held at the Majestic Rooms, where Mrs Ziegler received the guests wearing a smart frock of Windsor blue crepe satin, with shoulder spray to tone. She was assisted by Mrs S. Jenkins, who wore a smart brown costume with hat to tone and shoulder spray in russet tints. Mr and Mrs R. Jenkins left later for the honeymoon, the bride travelling wearing a rust frock and black coal, with accessories to tone.
THOMPSON—ROBERTS. The marriage was solemnised at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Te Awamutu, on August 11, between Mr Leslie M- T. Thompson, son of Mr and Mrs H. Thompson, of Ohingaiti and Miss Phyllis W. Roberts, daughter of Mr and Mrs E. Roberts, of Oparau, and formerly of Te \Kulti. The officiating clergyman was the Rev Lane, of Raetihi, and Mr W. Dent (uncle of the bride) presided at the organ. The bride looked charming in Ivory angelskin lace and satin beaute with embroidered veil, and a coronet of Pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet to tone. The bridesmaid was Miss Thelma Watson, who was wearing kingfisher blue silk crepe relieved with a spray of pink flowers and hair-band to match. rdie carried a bouquet to I tone with her frock. The llowcrgirl was little Klva Randall, wearing apricot georgette with hair-band to Mr Leslie Walson, of Pio Pio, was best man. Afterwards a reception was held at the Regent Lounge.
