OTAGO SUCCESSFUL. DEFEAT OF WAIRARAPA. (By Telegraph.—Pres* Association.) MASTERTON, Wednesday. After their forwards had dominated play for nearly two-thirds of the game the Wairnrapa Rugby representatives went under to Otago by 8 to 6 this afternoon. It was a bright game and was played on a Arm ground in brilliant sunshine. The Otago backs In the second spell revealed sufficient enterprise to pull the' game out of the Are. In spite of the fact that the visitors secured a monopoly of the ball from set scrums, Walrarapa held a territorial advantage In the first spell.
