TOWN BOARD MEETING. (Special to Times.) ri TARURI', Tuesday. The August meeting or the Putaruru Town Hoard was held last evening, Mr 11. K. McDermott presiding. Messrs A. K. Harr-Brown. X. Fltzherbert, R. Lee and W. Pass were also present. The Putaruru Chamber or Commerce wrote asking Tor support or their protest against the c.overmnent's proposal to take over transport services, it was decided to give support. A request from the local cricket team that seven clear days be allowed between tlie allotting or dales Tor dances In Hie Town Hall was declined.
