' HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION, j The Centreway Lounge was throng- • «'d last evening when another highly successful bridge and 500 evening | was held by the Hamilton East School | Parents’ Association. A happy spirit ; prevailed, and the function was a very j ; pleasant one. Large bowls of rhododendrons and vases of Iceland poppies, anemones and primulas lent a note of spring to the room. The guests were received by the president’s wife, Mrs W. T. C. Christie, who was wearing a frock of ! parma violet crepe Glamis with toning velvet coatee.
