Mrs Zelda Fahey as Lady Frinton j will make her opening appearance in a smart evening gown of black crepe Maroc gaily flowered in cherry, green and ivory, and cut on modern classically severe lines with low’ back and finishing of tiny self buttons. Ap- ; pearing later in an afternoon scene, s she will wear a frock of black sellstriped colelle with high neckline, opening to show a colour contrast in green beads, the same colour note being continued in the buckle of green 'j beads on the belt. The back of the I skirt is fashioned with a fishtail pleat, j and with the frock is worn a white ; bolero Jacket with long, full, leg-o’- ’ mutton sleeves. A morning ensemble features a straight black skirt with which is worn a jumper of sovereign gold satin made on fitting lines, with j black cravat and handkerchief, and j short sleeves. As Margot Tatham, Miss Cezke J I’niacke appears first in a travelling 1 ensemble comprising a nigger brown panne velvet frock finished with unusual steel buttons, worn under a musquash coat, and Simpson hat with ; “off-the-face” brim finished with a brown veil, and brown accessories, j She later wears an afternoon frock of apple green crepe Glamis with quilted bodice and collar, straight pleated skirt and stitched belt. With this she carries a deep brown picture hat in fine straw. A morning frock Is of cotelle flowered in nigger brown and white, with crisp white organdie fluting finishing the pockets, cuffs and collar, square neckline and stitched beltAirs Stan Walker, playing Kitty Lake, wears an evening frock of heavy jade green satin beaute with high pointed neckline and long, very full sleeves fashioned from a Raglan shoulderline. A belt encircles the waistline and lhe panelled skirt is slit at the hemline in the front, the throat j being finished with a cluster of violet and mauve orchids. Angela Lynton, played by Miss Jean | Bunker, makes her first entry in an I afternoon frock of black and white ' I carnival dotted marocaln with three- i quarter sleeves, petal effect finished ! with a white buckle at the neckline, and black velvet belt, with a white • buckle at the waistline. Later she wears a tailored tweed skirt in soft j brown tonings, cream tailored blouse j and matching brown tie.
