SUCCESSFUL DANCE.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. HAMILTON CANOE CLUE. A most successful dance at which a gay and happy spirit prevailed was held in the Frankton Town Hall on Saturday evening by the Hamilton Canoe Club and the management of the Parisian Ballroom. The hall was thronged with dancers and the evening was an unqualified success. Gay decorations and excellent music added further to the pleasure of the function. During the evening tlie presentation of Canoe Club trophies won during the year was made by the manager of the Parisian, Mr \Y. S. Menzies. as follows: Mens singles from Narrows, Mr .1. >1 iiart. 1. Mr Menzios spoke briefly of I lie progress of the dub since ils inception, and thanks wore extended to Mr Menzies on be-k-i!f of | he club for assisting it with iho function.
