An excursion party of 200 Czechs of tlie Orthodox faith, led by a bishop, were pelted with tomatoes, eggs ami stones when they attempted to land on a Dalmatian island where a report had been circulated that a bishop with 200 priests was coming forcibly to baptise all Roman Catholics into the Orthodox Church. When their ship attempted to (berth the islanders cut the mooring ropes and the excursionists were forced to retire.
