CARD EVENING.
A very pleasant evening was spent at the home of Mrs A. W- Johnson at Waitoa recently, when a progressive 500 tournament was held, organised by the local committee of the National Party. About 40 residents and friends attended, the successful players being Mr M. Yercoe and partner, Mrs Vercoe being second. Supper ’ was served by the hostess.
