It Is thought that the rise In prices during the past fortnight has been far too rapid to bo maintained, but It must bo remembered that prices dropped to very low figures when this spurt of activity took place, and even today our contention is that the nominal value of most hides Is not, by any means, high IT It is remembered that those in March stood nearly *JO lo per cent, higher.
