MILITARY SUCCESS.
2nd MEDIUM BATTERY. COVETED TROPHY DISPLAYED. Evoking considerable Interest on disi play in tiie window of Messrs 11. and ‘ J. Court, Ltd., is the handsome Medium Artillery trophy which was won recently by the 2nd Medium Battery of the New Zealand Artillery, Hamilton. The success indicates tlie efficiency of the battery which, under the command of Major E. F. Clayton-Greene, has i been in existence for only a year. I Tiie trophy is competed for annually by medium batteries, and is awarded lor I lie most efficient during the year. This is the first occasion on which a battery in the Norlhern Command lias I held the trophy, and it is an honour lo the young Hamilton unit that it should have brought it north. Constructed in solid silver, Ihe trophy is a working model of a field howitzer and is a handsome piece bf work.
