“CREDIT TO DISTRICT.”
WAtKATO HOSPITAL STAFF. FORMER PATIENT’S TRIBUTE. High praise for the treatment he had received at the Waikato Hospital was contained in a letter from a former patient read at to-day’s meeting of the Hospital Board. “ I have recently been discharged from your institution,” he wrote, after receiving treatment for some weeks and 1 would like to express my thanks to the doctors and nurses of your staff. I feel that your board should be aware of the fact that you have a really excellent institution. “ I have been in and out of nearly every hospital in New Zealand, and have also been a patient in Sydney and Melbourne hospitals and I say without hesitation that 1 have never received better treatment anywhere. The hospital and staff Is a credit to the large district it serves.” Members expressed gratification at the appreciation voiced of the efforts of the board’s staff.
