PENALTY OF CRIME.
SENTENCES AT GISBORNE. {By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Wednesday. In the Supreme Court this morning. Mr. Justice Reed sentenced prisoners as follows: — Pani Aupouri, for carnal knowledge, one month’s Imprisonment; Albert David Agnew, for breaking and entering with intent, two years’ probation; Raymond Heath Johnston, for fraudulently stating that he had posted a letter, ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months and fined £lO.
