SINKING OF ONE VESBEL. CREW SAFELY TRANSFERRED. (By TA]<*»ernpti.— Press Association I INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. Two oyster trawlers, the Rita and the Black Cat, of between 80 and 100 tons, collided off Ruapuke Island this morning. The Black Cat sank but all the members of the crew were safely transferred. The sea was fairly calm at the time of the mishap. The Rita returned to Bluff In a leaking condition, and is to be put on the slip for survey and repairs. This Is the first- loss on the oyster grounds in Foveaux Straits since they were first opened 60 years ago.
