With her husband Mrs Cutting will visit Lhasa, the forbidden city of Tibet. She is the first white woman to receive an invitation to the sacred shrine, where she and her husband will be the guests of Tsarong Shape, the first governor. Mr Cutting was a friend for many years of the late Dalai Lama.
