CONCERT AND DANCE.

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH. A very successful concert and dance was held by the men’s Committee of the Holy Trinity. Church Hall, at, Forest Lake on Tuesday evening. The attendance was large and created a record for the functions. Excellent lighting effects were arranged by the Rev. p. Sergei. The Forest Lake Dramatic Club presented two plays which were of a diverse type. They were “Five at the George,” a problem play by Stuart Meady, the cast being as follows: — Mrs Vone played by Mrs 11. B. Hall; Mrs War, Miss Doreen Kemp; Mr Merridow, Mr M. YE Clarke: Mr Weir, Mr J. Radford; the landlord, Mr T. MacDonald: the inspector, Mr. R. W Kemp; Captain Slandish, Mr H. B. Hall. •The other play was a comedy “Calling the Time" by Leonard Hines and Frank King, the cast being: Kim Trigg Played by Mrs Hales; Nora Trigg, Miss C. Radford; Joe Trigg, Mr R. Me Caw: Joss Pickersgill. Mr .1. A. Reidv; Major Hilton. Mr R. \Y. Dennett.
