ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
FALL INTO HOT POOL. (Special to Times.) ROTORUA, Sunday. Mrs Herana Konui (38), fell into a hot pool at Ohinemutu this morning. Her husband at once stepped in to save her and brought her to the bank. The woman though in the pool only a few moments, was so extensively scalded that she died later. The husband, too, was badly scalded, but his condition Is not considered serious. COLLAPSED AND DIED. AUCKLAND, Monday. Mr John George Woodward (61), a cook, collapsed and died after chasing a pet dog yesterday. Death was due to heart failure. THROWN UNDER A CAR. AUCKLAND, Monday. Arthur James Harris (19), a factory assistant, was thrown under a motorcar when the wheel of his bicycle caught in the tram line In KarangaI'Hke Road, lie suffered abrasions and concussion, and his condition was fall FROIVI A LORRY.
