EXPELLED JOURNALISTS.
IDENTITY OF THE MEN. TWO RETURN TO GERMANY. ALLEGED UNFRIENDLY ACT. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, August 7. The correspondents whose permits to stay in Britain the Home Office refused to renew are Herr von Crome, chief London correspondent of the L dial Anzeiger*', Herr Wrede, his colieague; and Herr Langden, London representative of the Graz Reichschach newspaper service. The Lokal Anzeiger is one of the chief Berlin daily newspapers. Von Crome has been its London correspondent for three years. Herr Wrede has only been in London four months, pud Herr Langden two. Herr von Crome told a representative of tile Press Association he had been given a fortnight in which to leave the country. The News Chronicle says It Is reliably reported' that complaints of espionage have been made against the three men. BERLIN. August 7 Two of the expelled German Journalists Herren Wrede and Langden have returned Germany. f ount Rei.msrhach in a message to In's 15 provincial German clients describes the expulsion as a provocatnry and unfriendly act, but the official news agency says Germany respects the British desire that the three men should leave England.
