Mr C. B. Cox, of Sydney, Is at the Hamilton Hotel.

Mr B. Bell, of the Wanganui Courthouse staff, has been transferred to Hamilton.

Mr C. C. Blake, of Atlantlo City, lowa, United States of America, is visiting Hamilton.

Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P. for Parnell. who has been organising for the National Party In the Waikato, returned to Auckland last evening.

Dr. J. A. Stallworthy, of Auckland, has accepted the position of first assistant to the professor of obstretrics and gynaecology under the Nuffield soheme at Oxford University.

Mr R. Coleburne, of the Hamilton staff qf the Publlo Trust, has been transferred to Wellington. Mr G. Browne, of the Wellington office, wlil replace him.

Professor R. M. Algle and Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.Q., of Auckland, have been appointed by the Governor-Gen-eral as members of the Council of Legal Education. Professor Algie represents the University Senate and Mr. Johnstone the Council of the New Zealand Law Society.
