PEACE CUP.
THAMES AND PAEROA DRAW. The Peace Cup challenge match between Paeroa and Thames resulted In a draw, 9 all. For Paeroa tries were soored by Swan (2) and Morrison, while for Thames Poland and Hamilton scored, and Hamilton kicked a penalty goal. A large attendance saw a good game. PLAY AT MORRINSVILLE. JUNIORB AND THIRDB. There was no play In the senior Rugby competition on Saturday. The results of the lower grade matches were as follows: Juniors.—Terriers 9, Old Boys 6; United 9, Kereone 5. Third Grade.—Old Boys won by default from Waitoa, and Kereone won by defaiult from Terriers. CUCKSEY CUP GAME. CAMBRIDGE DEFEAT TAUPiRI. lIS’TERES TING MATCH. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Sunday. In a challenge game for the Cucksey Cup played at Cambridge on Saturday, Cambridge third grade (holders) defeated Tauplrl 19—10. There was not much difference in weight between the teams and the game was very fast and open. The scorers were as follows:—Cambridge: Cornea, Broderson, Holmes (coriverted), Buckingham, Shaw (converted two) and Williams. Tauplrl: Nepe, Bourke (converted two), U'Urlen.
