Miss Mary Maguire, known as " the Mary Pick ford from Australia,” has been sent to bed by doctors suffering from acute bronchitis developed from a cold caught while " on location.” Miss Maguire, an unknown actress, was selected to play lead to Charles Farrell in " The Flying Doctor.” made at Pagewood, New South Wales, last year. As a result of that role she was offered an attractive contract in Hollywood.
