NGAHINAPOURI NOTES.
CARD EVENING. A most successful flag 500 evening was held by the Ladles’ Croquet Club In the hall recently. There was a large number present an-d a most enjoyable lime was spent. The winners for the evening were Mr and Mrs McCallum, Mrs Workworth (Gisborne), and Mr J. Greenwood. BRIDGE CLUB. Recently ihe Ngahinapouri Bridge Club played a match with the Ohaupo < luh at 'Ohaupo. Ngahinapourl were the winners, and Mrs E. Wilkinson and Mr McWhannel had the highest scores. The winners of the highest monthly aggregate score were Miami a Us U. Mills. SOCIAL CLUB. The fortnightly meeting of the Social Club was held In the hall on Thursday evening, there being a large
\ number of members and friends preCommunlty singing was followed by a play-reading, “Wayside War,” those taking part being Misses M. Rye, N. Marcroft, Messrs W. Pulman, C. Rye and S. Reid, which was very much appreciated by the audience. The rest of the evening was taken up with social games, and supper brought another successful evening to a close.
