BOBBY CALVES.
WALTON DISTRICT. FORMATION OF POOL. A meeting or Walton farmers was held In the hall recently to discuss a liobbv calf pool Tor this season. Mr j. n. Attwood presided. The following committee was set up to canvass the district: Messrs .1. 11. Attwood. W Carter. F. Hirst, n. Honker, «; Kirk (secretary), G. Fromm. W. Fisk, H icon and (1. M. Dodd. As a result or a canvass or the district a guarantee to support the pool was* received from oo per cent or the producers. A tender for cartage has been finalised, and two collections will be made weekly.
