FAREWELL PARTY.

FOR MISSES PAT & ELLEN TOMBS. HAPPY TIME SPENT. Miss Joan Campbell and Miss Phyllis Seccombe were hostesses at the home of Mrs A. Lincoln, in Milton Street, recently, at a very jolly farewell party for the Misses Pat and Ellen Tombs, who have left to make their home in Auckland. The time was spent very happily with amusing competitions which were won by Miss Audrey Howe and Miss Pat Osborn. During the evening a presentation was made to the gucsts-of-honour. The rooms were gay with bowls of lovely Iceland poppies. Miss Campbell was wearing a Paisley patterned frock and Miss Seccombe’s frock was of blue tulip taffetas. Miss Pat Tombs was wearing a navy and primrose tunic frock, and Miss Ellen Tombs green flowered, moire. Others present were: Mrs A. Lincoln, Miss Dot Clegg, Miss Verna Thomas (Gisborne), Miss Pat Osborn, Miss Audrey Howe, Miss Audrey Seccombe.
