King Carol, of Rumania, has bought Lady Yule’s luxury yacht Nahlin, In which she and her daughter visited Australia and New Zealand early In 1932. It Is the yacht in which the Duke of Windsor, with the present Duchess in his party, enuised in the Mediterranean last year shortly before the events which led to his abdication.

I King Carol is visiting England Incognito as Count Vrancea. He was the guest of the King and Queen at luncheon at Buckingham Palace, and also xlsited Queen Mary at Marlborough House.
| The Nahlin, valued at £278,000, has ja tonnage of 555, a speed of 17 i knots, and carries a crew of 50. She is fitted with luxurious lounges, j cabins, and bathrooms. She called at | Auckland in January, 1932. Lady Yiule. was left a fortune of £30,000,000 by her husband, Sir David Yule, who was an Indian I merchant. When the Nahlin visited Auckland her commander xx'as Captain T. A. Rainey, who combined the unusual qualities of aviator and sailor. The chief officer at the time of the Auckland visit was Mr N. P. Doyle, who would appear since then to have assumed command of the yacht, for in information received a fevf months ago he was described as captain of the Nahlin.
