Charged with slandering the manageress of a show where she is appearing, the seven-foot Fraulein Gisela, who is claimed to be the world's woman, was forced to bow her head to enter the court. She had called the world's fattest sisters in her defence but Hie larger was unable’ to climb the stairs to tlie courtroom, the lesser, weighing half a ton, managing to climb up. Helped hv several strong men, she squeezed through tlie door and collapsed, punting, at the bench. Four midgets also were witnesses, but all effort was in vain when it was found that the giantess was able to speak only Hungarian, and as no Interpreter was present an adjournment
