An official statement announces that the Viceroy and Gandhi discussed Gandhi’s visit to the North-West frontier province and cognate matters. The Marquess of Linlithgow is communicating Gandhi’s views to the governor of the province. They also discussed an Improvement of the conditions of the peasantry.
