DISCOVERY OF WRECKAGE. LITTLE HOPE OP SURVIVORS. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. NEW YORK, August 3. A Navy flier found the wreckage of the Pan-American Airways aeroplane, which consisted of a fragment of an engine section, 20 miles from the Colon breakwater. All hope of finding any survivors has been practically abandoned, but aeroplanes and submarines are continuing the search. The 11 passengers included two aviation attaches of the United States Department of Commerce, a woman and two children.
