The Warsaw correspondent of the Daily Mirror reports that the executive of the Polish Monarchist Party has passed a resolution to invite the Duke of Kent to accept the Polish Throne, which has been vacant since 1795. The resolution is to be sept to the Duke, who is visiting Southern Poland. The monarchist orgun Glos points out that Poland is situated between Russia and Germany, and says: ‘lf Poland had the Duke of Kent as King she would be linked to the ■world’s greatest Empire and greatest democracy. The Duke of Kent possesses all the attributes necessary for a monarch.” The Duke and Duchess have arrived at Lancut, the estate of Count Potocki, which the Polish Foreign Minister, Colonel Beck, will visit shortly.
