BRIDGE EVENING.

FOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND. HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS. A highly successful bridge evening was held by the Hamilton High School Old Girls’ Association in the Centreway Rooms last evening to raise funds for the Scholarship Endowment Fund. A happy spirit characterised the function and there was a very large number present. Vivid bowls of massed Iceland popples lent a colourful note to the rooms, and during the evening a delicious supper was served. The prize-winners were: Highest score, Mrs T. J. Shaw; hidden number, Mrs E. G. Scrimshaw. The president of the association, Mrs R. E. Conradi, received the guests wearing a frock of cinnamon brown French georgette.
