Conandale Stud to-day consists largely of stock bred from the twelve Head, that when brought up from the Stud's old home in South Canterbury, -sold at auction at New Plymouth for the record average of 172 guineas. From the last direct shipment or Pedigree Jerseys from Jersey Island, imported by Messrs Martin and Murray, Mi- Dale purchased three champion Jerseys. These animals, representing the best blood in the. Dominion, are the foundation of Conandale's present quality Jerseys. Mr Dale has had over 30 years’ experience of breeding dairy cattle, and now he has left, the Stud Stock Department of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., Mr Dale, is devoting his time to the development of the Stud.
