BOXING ATTRACTION.

WAIKATO CHAMPIONSHIPS. SATURDAY’S BOUTS. The Theatre Royal will be the venue for the Waikato Amateur boxing •championships, under the auspices of the Waikato Boxing Association on Saturday, which should, attract enthusiasts from all over the Waikato. The eliminating bouts will he held In the afternoon and the finals in the evening. Nominations for the various classes closed yesterday, and record entries were received. Among the prominent Contestants are several New Zealand title-holders, and with these champions in the ring a high standard of fighting is assured. Owing to the Dominion Championships being decided shortly, Saturday’s attraction wilt be of more than usual importance.
