WESTACOTT INJURED. BLOMFIELD WINS BOUT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Wednesday. In a wrestling bout, Lofty Blomfleld heat Rusty Westacott, before a packed house to-night. Westacott ecured a fall in the fourth round with a body following a flying tackle and dropkick. Westacott attempted another flying tackle at the start of the sixth round, going through the ropes and partially dislocating his shoulder. He returned to the ring and wrestled on in pain for some minutes. When Blomfield trapped him into an octopus clamp, Westacott immediate submitted. During Ihe interval before the seventh round a doctor examined Westarolt’ii shoulder, and on his advice the contest was discontinued, Blomfield being declared the winner. LEWIS BEATS SPELLMAN. (Fy Telegraph.—rress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. By two falls, in the fifth and seventh rounds, Ed. “Strangler” Lewis. 18s t 01b, beat John Spellman, 15st 21b, 10-niglit.
