Bastard scoring for Brand to convert. Then Williams scored for Manawatu but Brand kicked another fine goal. Harris then made a fine opening for Watt to score and Brand to add the points. Brand later dropped-kicked a goal from half way and Watt scored again while Brand Louw was the next scorer under the posts for Brand to convert. The ground was the best the visitors have yet had and they threw the uali about well beating Manawatu by speed. The final score was South Africa ~ = Manawatu t. . «- BUOYANT REVENUE. ALL ROUND INCREASE. MINISTER'S ANNOUNCEMENT. WELLINGTON. Wednesday. A substantial increase in State revenue for the first quarter of this financial year is shown in the audited public accounts. The revenue totalled £6,716,000, representing an increase of £1,193,000 compared with the same period last year. A navy flier found the wreckage of the missing 'plane 20 miles from Colon. It is believed the machine taxied into the water.
