TE AWAMUTU NEWS.

BT. JOHN’S GIRLS’ CLUB. There was a good attendance of members at the fortnightly meeting of the St. John’s Girls’ Club at Te Awamutu, and after the business of the evening had been dealt with Miss G. Irvine, who has just returned from an extended trip to England, gave a very interesting talk on her experiences, which included the Coronation. Games and competitions took the form of entertainment for the rest of the time, and a very enjoyable evening concluded with the serving of supper. The hostesses for the evening were Misses Ruth Fusil, Gypsy Garvey and Barry Fox.
